The Back Story
Bro. Morris and Barbara Hill had served in ministry for decades in the Sweet Water area. Suddenly, God called them elsewhere. After much prayer and seeking God’s will, they were approved through North American Mission Board to serve as ministry leaders at New Day Fellowship Church in St. Regis, Montana. Currently, Bro. Morris is the pastor of the church, but they both do so much more in the community, including driving school buses, mowing lawns, and any other handy work that people will allow them to do. Since the start of their ministry in 2019, 16 souls have been saved in St. Regis! New Day Fellowship currently serves as the only active evangelical church in a 100 mile radius.
Sweet Water BC serves as the sending church for the Hills, meaning that all of the donations that they receive for their ministry are processed through the SWBC church office. You will find the account to send donations in the online giving portal (called “Exchange”). You may also mail checks to the church office located at the address at the bottom of the home page (click the SWBC logo at the top left corner).
Sweet Water BC sent a team of 32 to St. Regis in June of 2021. They installed a new roof on a trailer, held a Summer Club (VBS) at the town park, scrubbed and cleaned St. Regis High School, and built meaningful relationships with the locals. You may see the photo album HERE.
